Four Steps to Getting Home
Schedule a Tour
Start by booking a tour of one of our Modesto properties. Tours run daily from 10 AM to 1 PM. This is your chance to see the room, walk the property, and ask any questions.
Complete Your Application
After your tour, fill out our short online application. It covers the basics — your income, references, and housing history. There's no credit score requirement.
Interview
We do a brief, friendly interview to make sure Stayhaven is a good fit for you and that you're a good fit for our community. Our interviews are conversational, not intimidating.
Move In
Once approved, we get you moved in as quickly as possible. We'll walk you through house rules, introduce you to your housemates, and make sure you're settled.
Our Requirements Are Simple and Fair
What We Look For
- Valid government-issued ID
- Proof of income or benefits (SSI, disability, employment, program support, etc.)
- Willingness to follow house rules and respect fellow residents
- A brief background review (case-by-case — we work with many backgrounds)
Not Required
- No minimum credit score required
- No prior rental history required
